Installation Guidelines

1. Surface Preparation
   Ensure the mounting surface is smooth, dry, and free of dust. Surface temperature should be within the operating range to guarantee adhesion.

2. Layout Planning
   Account for sheet orientation and wire routing. Each sheet includes terminals for parallel wiring. Avoid exceeding three 35W sheets or two 70W sheets in series to maintain safe amperage.

3. Mounting
   Peel the protective liner and adhere the sheet using the pre-installed 3M™ double-sided adhesive. Apply uniform pressure across the surface.

4. Wiring
   Connect using 16–18 AWG low-voltage wire. Sheets are powered by 24VDC constant voltage drivers. Use appropriate connectors or terminal blocks rated for low-voltage DC use.

5. Driver & Load Planning
   Match driver size to total wattage of connected sheets. Always maintain a 20% safety buffer.

Driver Selection Guide

Do not exceed 5 amps per run. For installations over 3 sheets, use parallel wiring or split runs with separate drivers.

Best Practices

• Install sheets on metallic or thermally conductive surfaces to dissipate heat effectively.

• Avoid routing power more than 49 ft without a secondary injection point to prevent voltage drop.

• Test power and dimming functionality prior to final mounting.

• For dimming, use magnetic low voltage (MLV) dimmers compatible with your driver type.
