Shipping & Delivery
SHIPPING POLICY
We ship fast! Most orders placed before 12:00 PM (PST) ship the same day, subject to availability. If you need your order to arrive on a specific day, please call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
- Drop-shipments typically ship within 1-4 business days.
- Once your order is shipped, tracking information will be emailed within 72 hours.
- Orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Availability & Backorders
While we strive to keep all items in stock, some products may be unavailable due to backorders, discontinuation, or unforeseen reasons. If an item is unavailable:
- We will notify you via email or phone within 2-3 business days.
- If your order includes items from multiple manufacturers, you may receive separate shipments, and shipping times may vary.
- While we cannot guarantee an exact shipping date, we work to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Sonic Electric is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package is lost or stolen after delivery, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

Non-Defective Merchandise Returns
- Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- Returns must be new, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- Tracking information must be provided by the 30th day, or the return will not be accepted.
- A 30% restocking fee applies.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
If an item is returned in used, opened, or reconditioned condition, additional service charges may apply, or the return may be denied.
Defective Products
- Defective products must be returned within 10 days of the invoice date for a same-item replacement.
- All defective items will be tested upon return. If the item is found to be in working condition, no refund or replacement will be issued.
- If the defective item is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will direct you to the manufacturer for a replacement.
Non-Returnable Items
⚠️ The following items cannot be returned:
- Load centers/panels
- Final sale items (on-sale items are non-returnable)
- Halogen/incandescent items
- Faceplates/covers
- Recessed trims & housing
- Assembled or specialty order parts
- Discontinued items
Cancellations & Refused Shipments
- To cancel an order, email us. Your cancellation is not complete until confirmed by a customer service representative.
- If your order has already shipped and you refuse the package, it will be treated as a return, and standard restocking fees will apply.
Claims for Shortages, Damages, or Incorrect Shipments
- Inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
- Any claims for shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving your order.
- Claims received after 5 business days will not be accepted.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. If you wish to order a different item, please place a new order and return the unwanted item according to our return policy.
