SoCal Electric - Lighting up Mid City Los Angeles Since 1982

It's been some time since our last blog posts. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and ready for the new year.

We are now in Week 3 since the opening of the Royale Lighting online store. For those unaware, Royale Lighting is a the newest addition to Southern California Electric, a lighting and electrical supplier that has been lighting up Mid City Los Angeles since 1982 with help from President Ben Refalian and his late father Sir Amin Rafalian.

Royale Lighting is the newest chapter of the business. With son, Payam spearheading the change with the help of younger brother, Navid, the two hope they can build something worth mentioning. The simple goal: Allowing home owners, electricians and contractors alike to skip the line and purchase all their lighting and electrical supplies online for the lowest prices guaranteed.

Further, with over 35 years of experience we hope that customers will take advantage by visiting or calling the store to help them further with lighting ideas, questions and concerns. In-store manager, Tony Castro has been part of SCE, Inc. since day 1 and loves to help you customers with their lighting needs.   

In these short 3-weeks we have yet to record a sale, but our catalog is expanding exponentially with the help of Shopify. The platform is easy to use, but I believe it is missing some features that can make it more powerful.  

We now serve up a full line of landscape lighting courtesy of our neighborhood manufacturer Orbit Industries located in Downtown Los Angeles. 

Further we have expanded that line of landscape lighting by sharing another one of our favorite manufacturers, Best Quality Lighting. BQL is known for their high quality and elegant outdoor fixtures.

No worries, we have transformers to help you light up your backyard as well.

Recently, we have been improving our LED Light bulb selection with the help of another neighborhood manufacturer, Euri Lighting. We believe that their customer service is great and that their bulbs are high quality and a perfect replacement for anyone trying to save on their electricity bill.

We are also very much involved in our Social Media accounts that we believe are ideal to all home owners, electricians and contracts who are looking for lighting ideas, inspiration and examples.
