Description
The Lew Electric PUFP-SQ-SS is an indoor floor box that provides duplex power in a hidden and attractive pop up. When closed the pop up is hidden in your floor, all you see is a stylish stainless steel top. When you push the button the top tilts open revealing the power outlet. The outlet is 15 amps with tamper resistant plugs, and is UL listed.
Hidden Power Where you Need It
This pop up is perfect for any locations where you need hidden power, or locations where a wall outlet is not available. The pop up has been optimized to work perfectly in any indoor residential or commercial application with wood floors. It can also be installed in a tile floor, if access from below is possible. The unit as a whole is UL listed including the outlet, it is also cUL recognized for Canadian installations. In the closed position the top is UL compliant to keep out dust and scrub water, there is also a gasket under the bezel to keep out water from entering from the sides.
Hardwired Solution
The outlet needs to be hardwired through the included back box and to the outlet. The back box only takes up 3 1/8" of space under your floor allowing it to be installed almost anywhere. The hole that needs to be cut in your floor is 4 1/16" x 4 1/16", the top bezel is 4 3/4" x 4 3/4".
The box is an excellent choice for any commercial or residential application that needs affordable power supplied in a stylish pop up, it can be used in floors or even desks.
