Orbit Industriesš¬¢ sealing locknuts are used to secure threaded conduits or connectors to electrical junction boxes or enclosures in wet locations. Their gasketed surface provides a water-tight seal against the box surface. Orbit Industriesš¬¢ sealing locknuts allow standard junction boxes to be used with unthreaded conduit knockout openings in wet locations. Serrated teeth on the locknut bite into the box and enclosure to prevent vibratory loosening of the connection.  In damp locations, sealing locknuts are also of excellent corrosion protection with zinc electroplated.
