La carcasa de nueva construcción presenta un diseño mecánico innovador, pendiente de patente, rigurosamente probado para cumplir con UL263 y ASTM STD E119 para brindar protección contra la propagación del calor y las llamas hacia la cavidad del techo durante 1 hora y 2 horas. La carcasa poco profunda del dispositivo con clasificación IC puede caber en una construcción de 2 x 6 y puede cubrirse completamente con aislamiento.
