Product Description

The Square D FA34040 is a 40-Amp, 3-pole, 480V I-Line molded case circuit breaker designed for commercial and industrial power distribution applications.

Part of Square D's FA Series F-Frame, the FA34040 features an I-Line plug-in mounting configuration with thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection and long-time / instantaneous trip functions.

The breaker provides an interrupting rating of 18,000 AIC at 480VAC and 25,000 AIC at 240VAC. It is rated for 3-phase applications and includes load-side lug terminals accepting copper and aluminum conductors.

The FA34040 is a discontinued Square D circuit breaker primarily used as an exact replacement in compatible Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards.
