RCFB-1 Recessed Hybrid Floor Box - Single Gang, Brass

The Lew Electric RCFB-1 is a recessed floor box that allows the user to hide the plugs down in the box, with only the cord coming out above the floor. This creates a low-profile look without the plugs sticking up from the ground. The plate is real brass providing a durable cover for any floor.

Eliminate Tripping Hazards with a Concealed Plug Floor Box

Now you can safely eliminate dangerous plugs from being above ground with no tripping hazards. Since they can‚¬„¢t be kicked by feet anymore, you don‚¬„¢t have to worry about breaking the cord plug, or the outlet that the cord was plugged into. Since the plugs are set deep down in the box, there is no more cluttered mess to look at.  This box is perfect for hiding under a rug, since the plugs won‚¬„¢t be in the way.  Use for permanently plugged in devices through the grommet holes, or use the lid or screw plugs to access power.

Two 15A Tamper Resistant Plugs

Plug one or two cord ends into a single duplex outlet, the receptacle is rated at 15 Amps and has tamper proof plugs for safety to meet code. The box is UL listed, and the outlet is UL listed to meet heavy duty requirements for display receptacles. 

Compact Size and Easy Installation

The box cover measures only 5‚¬� x 5‚¬� in size, and the real metal brass cover plate is only 1/8‚¬� thick. The box can be installed directly to the subfloor or routed into a finished floor such as a hardwood floor. The box has several knockouts to run your wire into, each long side has four ¾‚¬� knockouts, each short side has two ¾‚¬� knockouts, the bottom has two ¾‚¬� knockouts.

The floor box kit with everything you need including the back box, brass cover, receptacle, grommets, gaskets, and plate screws. The box also includes a 4-port keystone plate if you need to have data in the box instead of power.
