Description: 
Orbit's Universal Mounting Internal Adjustment Boxes (UMIAB Series) are 4" Sq.  Boxes with a built-in adapter for mounting and adjusting the box to fit various Electrical or Fire Life Safety applications. Built-in adapter allows for adjustment of the UMIAB-35šž¢s from 1/2" to 1-1/2" and the UMIAB-25šž¢s from 1/2" to 1-1/4", ensuring devices sit flush with wall surfaces. UMIABšž¢s mount direct to stud frames. Mount UMIABšž¢s between studs or joists with Orbit's SSB-T5; or between drop ceiling grids with SSB-TBAR. Internal Adjustment allows for box adjustment both before or after dry wall installation. FA-UMIAB-35 FA-UMIAB-25 are powder coated red for quick identification of FA devices.
