Description
The Kramer UTBUS-2-5 from Kramer is a table edge AV box enclosure that installs to the underside of your table and houses power and USB charging connections discretely in your conference room table.
Connections
The cable management box holds 2 power, 2 charging USB, and 4 grommet holes. The grommet holes allow you to run your own cables up to the box, and hold the ends of the cables so the user can pull them out when needed. Alternatively use with Kramer's KRT series of retractable cables. The grommet holes can accommodate up to a 12.5mm thick cable. There is protective rubber around the hole to keep your cable safe. The USB charging ports offer one 2.4 amp fast charging, and one 1.0 Amp charging. There are 2 blank plates that can be replaced in the future should your technology needs change.
Under Table Means You Don't Have to Cut Your Table
Under table boxes are an ideal choice when you don't want to cut into your table surface. They are perfect when you want direct access in front of a user. Since they simply screw to the underside of your table, they can be quickly moved to other areas of the table, or even different rooms. They are also ideal for rental departments and act as a portable AV box for temporary installations.
Fast Installation
To install, simply screw to the underside of your table with the included four wood screws. Once secured to the edge of your table, your cables can then be ran into the grommet holes. The power is a single 6' long three prong plug cord. The box is UL listed for USA, and cUL listed for Canada installations.
The box can be installed on the bottom edge of any table surface or podium that needs a quick way to manage your connections in an attractive, functional, and affordable table edge box for any furniture surface.
